Mark Römisch is a Lecturer in German. He has taught German from introductory to advanced levels and German theater and culture courses. In addition to teaching at MIT, he has taught at institutions in Germany and the US, including Harvard University and Wellesley College.

He published Form and Landscape – Bauhaus in New England (2019), a photographic exploration of modernist structures in the greater Boston area. 

Römisch’s fields of interest include developing and implementing technology in the language classroom, theater in foreign language pedagogy, German theater and drama, and contemporary photography.
