Jean-Luc Steinmetz, Professeur d’Université, poète et essayiste, lauréat de la Société des Gens de Lettres, de l’Académie Française, de l‘Institut, et de la Japan Society for Research pour ses ouvrages sur Rimbaud, Verlaine et Mallarmé, est un spécialiste éminent de la littérature  française du 19e siècle. Ses livres ont été traduits en plusieurs langues. Il a lui-même été l’invité de nombreuses  institutions en Europe, ainsi qu’au Maroc, en Chine, au Japon, en Colombie, en Amérique latine, au Canada et aux États-Unis.

Jean-Luc Steinmetz is a University Professor, poet and literary critic, whose works on Rimbaud, Verlaine and Mallarmé have been rewarded by the Société des Gens de Lettres, the French Academy, the French Institute, and the Japan Society for Research. He is an eminent specialist in 19th-century French literature and has lectured at numerous institutions in Europe, Morocco, China, Japan, Latin America, Canada and the United States
