Ian Condry participated in the University of Tokyo’s Media Mix summer program.
In July, Ian Condry participated in the University of Tokyo’s summer program focusing on Japanese pop culture. With the theme “media mix,” the goal of the program is to better understand the ways in which Japanese pop culture circulates across multiple media platforms and commodity forms. The program will examine this transmedia movement between anime, manga and other media forms from both a theoretical and practitioner perspective.
