The Korean Language Program and the Korean Cultural Association successfully hosted their ‘Korean movie night’ event, which is held annually during the spring semester.
The award-winning film Parasite, directed by Bong Joon-ho, was screened for the MIT community at Bartos Theater on March 6, 2020. Approximately 110 community members enjoyed Korean bibimbap and watched the film.
Prof. Emma J. Teng, Director of Global Languages gave the opening remarks to celebrate the new permanent status of the Korean language program and to introduce the newly launched Korean Cultural Association student club.
