Panpan Gao is a Lecturer of Chinese. She teaches at the introductory level in the Regular language track, and at the advanced level in the Streamlined language track. Gao also developed and leads 21G.120 Business Chinese. Prior to joining Global Languages in 2017, Gao taught Chinese at Harvard Beijing Academy and Harvard University. She also teaches Chinese annually in Middlebury Languages Schools’ summer programs.

Gao is co-author of Expressive Chinese: Culture and Communication in a Changing China (Cheng & Tsui, 2021), and presents regularly at conferences about the use of educational technology in Chinese language teaching. Her pedagogical interests and foci include Chinese linguistics, educational technology, and curriculum design.
