Yang Yang received her B.A. degree in Teaching Chinese as a Second Language from Xi’an International Studies University in China and her M.A. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Adelphi University in New York. Prior to coming to MIT, she created a Chinese culture and language class at Quincy Asian Resources, Inc. At present, she is also a Chinese language online tutor at the Center for Talented Youth, Johns Hopkins University.

Yang’s pedagogical interests include:Second language acquisition, Chinese language pedagogy, and Chinese cultural communication.
