Hello! My name is Grace and I’m excited to be one of the student ambassadors for the Chinese program! I grew up speaking Chinese at home, but it wasn’t until I started taking classes at MIT that I began learning it in a classroom setting (especially technical and business vocab that I wouldn’t have encountered otherwise). I love learning about Chinese history and culture, especially traditional stories behind common Chinese idioms. In my free time, I enjoy reading classical Chinese poetry, listening to Mandopop and Cantopop, and watching Chinese food and travel channels on YouTube.
