Class year: 2026
Major: Mechanical Engineering (Course 2)
I have found learning the Spanish language to be extremely rewarding. It has allowed me to connect deeper with my international friends here at MIT, as well as with people I come across while traveling. One of the coolest places I have visited was Machu Picchu on a spring break trip from my co-ed fraternity (The Number Six Club). A country I am looking forward to visiting is Chile. – I got obsessed with the idea of visiting the observatory in the Atacama desert after watching “Nostalgia de la Luz” in my Spanish film class. One of my passions is engineering educational outreach programs, and I know that the knowledge of Spanish will be very beneficial in these endeavors. I play the clarinet in the Wind Ensemble and during my free time I like to rollerblade along the Charles river.
