Every year, the best students in French studies can apply for a January Scholars award, which allows them to spend two weeks in Paris under the guidance of a French faculty. This program of cultural immersion includes visits, concerts, conferences given by experts in their field, as well as dinners and the experience of Parisian culture and daily life.
MIT’s Global Languages invites undergraduates to apply for the Scholars in France program. Selected students will experience two weeks of tutored immersion in the cultural life of Paris. Airfare, lodging, guided tours, and field trips costs are covered by MIT.
Applications are open to MIT undergraduates. The award will be based on a demonstrated commitment to French Studies at MIT. Preference will be given to French minors and concentrators.
