Dagmar Jaeger Assessing Digital Peer-Review in L2 writing
Abstract: This presentation focuses on the implementation and assessment of peer-to-peer review comments of students’ essays via the digital annotation tool Perusall in 21G.404 German IV.  Students read and digitally annotate each other’s essays, highlighting portions of their peer’s text to make comments about the text features. We will explore the implementation of carefully crafted peer-review tasks for the digital platform.  We will then analyze the data of students’ feedback and discuss frameworks for interpreting this information.
