This event is open to all MIT undergraduates who are curious about French and about the many ways to engage with French at MIT. The session will include a short presentation on the French program at MIT, followed by time for questions, along with snacks and refreshments.
The Open House will also include a focused presentation on January Scholars in France (JSF), a selective, fully funded program led by MIT French faculty and local experts. This year, the program will take place from June 1 to June 14 and will explore Cultures and Countercultures through guided visits, conversations, and hands-on discovery across the city, from major cultural sites to creative, alternative spaces. We will discuss the program in detail, including the application process, the program schedule, and what students can expect during the two weeks in Paris.
