For this special Solta a Língua, join us for music and informal conversation with the Brazilian music trio Cia Armorial. We will learn about the history of Brazilian Music, and about “Música Caipira,” a music style with its origins in Brazil’s countryside. We will hear selections performed by the trio.
Cia Armorial is:
Marcello Linhos — viola caipira, vocals
Nelson Latif — 7-string acoustic guitar, vocals
Marcelo Lima — mandoline, vocals
In Portuguese. Brazilian food will be served.
