Join us for a sneak preview of “Teresita’s Dream.” This short (23minutes) documentary tells the story of Teresita Rodriguez’s quest to slow the progression of her mother’s Alzheimer’s.

Rodriguez, a scientist and founding member of Cuba’s renowned Center for Molecular Immunology, discovers that a new drug being developed for strokes at her own research institute could help in the battle against Alzheimer’s. Against all odds, she, and her team of mostly women scientists, are now pushing to finish the final clinical trials to release the Alzheimer’s drug, called Neuro-EPO (commercialized as NeuralCIM)
