German lecturer, Sandra Ward, reported on experience of African Americans in the time of Coronavirus in her article just published in Die Welt, a German daily. Her article, titled in German: “Lieber riskiere ich Corona, als erschossen zu werden“ (“I’d rather risk Corona than get shot”), alludes to the fear that African Americans have voiced about wearing face masks and being perceived as burglars.
