Ayae Uwabo-Dodson is a lecturer in Japanese. She earned her M.A. from University of Wisconsin-Madison in Japanese Linguistics and Pedagogy in 2019.

Ayae teaches Japanese courses at all levels from beginning to advanced Japanese.

Prior to joining MIT in 2023, she has taught at State University of New York at Binghamton. In the summer she has been teaching at Middlebury Summer Language School since 2022.

Her pedagogical interests include the use of media in language education.
