Sofia Verba is a Lecturer in Russian, teaching at the introductory and intermediate levels. Before joining MIT, she taught Russian at Harvard University and Brown University. She is currently a Doctoral Candidate in the Slavic Studies Department at Brown University, and her research focuses on female representation in Soviet visual art.
